We formed BFY Capital to meet the needs of CPG entrepreneurs seeking ways to fuel growth without substantial dilution. We create aligned interests through capital flexibility, mutual accountability, true partnerships and a long term view toward value creation without artificial timelines.

 

Our goal is to reset the table in favor of founding teams and the earliest investors who supported them.

If we don’t believe in a brand enough to put it in our own pantry, medicine cabinet, refrigerator or freezer – we don’t invest. It’s that simple. We back brands that our families, pets and friends enjoy every day – brands that make us proud.

INVESTMENT CRITERIA

We work with passionate entrepreneurs whose brands are at an inflection point for growth.

Specifically, we work with companies with the following attributes:

  • Minimum gross annual sales of $4M

  • Clear line of sight to EBITDA profitability within twenty four months

  • Have established distribution in regional markets, and are expanding doors nationally

  • Have a track record of increased velocity off shelf, while maintaining spend discipline


More than anything, we invest in people. We back founding teams that live, eat, breathe and sleep their products. And it shows.

At BFY, we spend a significant amount of time with founding teams prior to investment. For us, it’s more about creating relationships than deploying capital.
